Satellite Communications
Satellite communication plays a pivotal role in the telecommunications system worldwide. It is an artificial satellite that offers communication links between various points on earth. Satellite Network reduces the communication gap and provides voice, video and data transfer from one corner of the world to the other. The concept of satellite communication was first introduced by a renowned British author Sir Arthur Charles Clarke in the year 1945. He went on to turn his vision into reality and based on the work of Tsiolkovsky he suggested to launch the first manmade satellite communication to convey radio signals.
Our Solutions
Today Satellite Network provides the complete spectrum of satellite communications services on a wide fleet of geostationary orbit spaceship and has truly converted Sir Clarke’s idea into reality. This helps people to stay connected, provides radio and television broadcasts and satellite internet access via telephone service anywhere in the world. As communications satellite rotates around Earth at a consistent speed, the customers outside station equipment has no moving parts, offering reliable satellite communications with convenience to install and exceptionally integrated VSAT package. Maritime service stations utilize gyroscope fortified antenna under a vastly protected dome to keep proper viewing guidelines to the spacecraft.
Satellite communication services offered by Satellite Network include:
- Broadband Internet
- WAN – Star, Mesh and Star/Mesh Topology
- Point-to-Point Links
- Private Satellite Networks – VNO, GQoS,
- Hubs Global Content Distribution (DTH and Enterprise)
- SNG
- Satellite Uplink
- Services Hybrid Networks
- Maritime Connectivity
Space segment
Satellite Network employs space segment capacity on geostationary satellites operated by well-known companies such as Telesat – operating since 1972, Intelsat – operating since 1965, Eutelsat, RSCC as well as industry pioneers Gascom and Arabsat. Satellite Network connects the space segment to terrestrial IP infrastructure via a network of ground facilities in United States and Europe. Satellite Network satellite communications network is backed up by PEP and IP Telephony servers located at East and West Coast United States and Western Europe.
